I am a PhD fellow at the Department of Design and Communication at the University of Southern Denmark. Currently, I am conducting a research project on micro-organisation of collaborative encounters in innovative workspaces under the supervision of Johannes Wagner. My research draws on Conversation Analysis and Ethnomethodology and aims to unpack how the professional, interactional, material, and spatial settings of the workplace contribute to the innovation process, creativity, and eventually to the production of new technologies in high tech software companies.
I hold a PhD in French Language Teaching at Hacettepe University for my research on avoidance strategies in political news interviews. I am also co-founder and vice-director of the HUMAN Research Center (Hacettepe University Micro-Analysis Network). HUMAN is dedicated to research on social interaction in institutional settings, mainly using a conversation analytic framework.
